BIO
Sean is an enthusiastic UK qualified architect currently working as an Associate Architect for Foster + Partners. He studied at both the University of Liverpool and the Welsh school of Architecture having completed the Professional Diploma most recently at the WSA in 2020. He is a quick learner and a motivated individual with a passion for creating and architectural design. His problem solving abilities and attention to detail are qualities that maintain the highest levels in his work
Sean’s architectural education began in 2011 where he began studying his undergraduate architectural degree at the school of architecture in Liverpool and in 2014 Sean graduated with first-class honours. After University, Sean’s began his first professional experience in Kent, starting as a Part I Architectural Assistant for Richard Hopkinson Architects, during which time he worked on numerous projects in and around London and Kent.
Sean returned to University after 2 years as an architectural assistant to study his MArch at the WSA in 2016. During his first year on the course he additionally took up a position working as an architectural assistant for Design Engine Architects in Winchester. Here he continued to refine his architectural abilities whilst working on a number of high profile educational and residential projects in the South of England.  In mid-2018, Sean graduated as a Master of Architecture from the WSA where his work was noticed by Foster + Partners in the graduate show subsequently earning himself a position as a Part II Architectural Assistant  in London. Upon starting this position, he additionally took up the Part III Professional Diploma course at the WSA which he completed in May 2020. At Present, Sean is a registered and chartered UK architect working as an Associate for Foster + Partners in London.
Sean has a great interest in socially and environmentally regenerative architecture through the means of contemporary technologies. His fifth year thesis project explored the translation of Leominster’s historic timber framed vernacular through the technological capabilities of the local steel fabrication industries. This thesis ultimately aimed to bridge these two contrasting worlds.
